Pessada is a delightful rural village located in the south coast of Kefalonia. The pretty village of Pessada is home to the Divino winery, where visits and tasting are available. The village has a small ferry port 'Pessda Port' and fishing harbour. The ferry port provides the only connection to the island of Zakynthos, also known as Zante.
Pessada is famous on the island for its seafaring traditions which brought its prosperity and small secluded cloves can be found nearby for a spot of fishing.
The neighbouring lovely resorts of Lassi, Spartia and Sarlata are all close by and the warm sunny beaches and deep blue turquoise waters of Trapezaki and Lourdas are less than 2 km away.
