Draped across the lower slopes of Mount Ainos and sheltered from the northern winds, Trapezaki is a mainly residential area, situated between Spartia and Lourdas on Kefalonia’s south coast. The area offers a relaxing mix of tranquility, stunning sea views of the island of Zante shimmering on the horizion, a gorgeous quiet sandy beach and a sprinkling of delightful, friendly tavernas. Along the coastline to the south west is St Thomas beach (Agios Thomas) and this too is a sandy beach, split across two rocky coves, with a couple of beachside tavernas. Both trapezaki and St thomas are only a short dirve from the small resort of lourdas.
