Villa Akrogiali is in an Idyllic waterfront location just a few metres from the sea with stunning views over the Bay of Assos and its 16th Century Venetian castle and only a short walk from the waterside tavernas, cafes, bars and shops that line the pretty harbour of Assos.

Villa Akrogiali is located on the waterfront opposite the 16th century Venetian Castle of Assos enjoying panoramic sea views over the picturesque Bay of Assos . There is a strong Venetian presence throughout the village with pretty pastel coloured houses overlooking the yachts and local fishing boats moored in the horse shoe shaped harbour. In the evenings the village lights illuminate the harbour, creating a magical ambiance throughout the village so why not enjoy a romantic meal at one of the waterside tavernas or cafes and watch the sun set over the Ionian Sea. During the day Assos has much to offer with bird watching, rambling lots of walks including spending half a day exploring the Assos’s 16th century Venetian castle whose remains form one of the most famous landmarks on Kefalonia. For the sun lovers simply laze by your swimming pool or hire a boat from the harbour in Assos and visit any one of the many unspoilt coves in the vicinity. Don’t forget to take your snorkel as there are lots of rocky outcrops and numerous waterside caves to explore in the crystal clear water around Assos, if you are lucky you may even glimpse a dolphin or monk seal.

Villa Akrogiali is a fully air conditioned end of terrace three bedroom villa, that has been tastefully furnished with a mixture of both modern and traditional greek furniture. The front entrance opens onto a modern fully equipped kitchen next to a small family shower room with wc. A half set of steps lead down from the kitchen into the open plan living area consisting of a spacious lounge and dining room with arched double doors leading onto a spacious balcony with built in BBQ and where in the evenings you can dine al fresco whilst enjoying spectacular sunsets over both Assos Castle and the Ionian Sea. Steps lead down from the lounge balcony to the swimming pool where there are sun loungers and umbrellas. Upstairs on the first floor is a double bedroom which has its own private balcony overlooking the sea. On the second floor there is a twin bedroom with a separate family bathroom that all the bedrooms share. The third bedroom is located in the attic and is a larger double bedroom with wooden vaulted ceilings and windows that overlook the castle and sea. Steep steps lead down 100metres to the seafront, to a small rock swimming platform, here you can swim to a platform beach which is only 200 metres away, which normally can only be reached by boat.
