Located just 100 metres above the crystal clear waters of Assos Harbour, with stunning sea views dominated by the Venetian Fortress opposite, it is easy to understand why Palatsina is one of the most sought after on the entire island of Kefalonia. In the evenings enjoy a romantic meal at one of the many waterside tavernas whilst the village lights illuminate the harbour and create a magical atmosphere for you to saviour. The water around the pebble beach in the harbour is crystal clear with excellent snorkelling exploring the many caves and rocky outcrops in Assos Bay.
Villa Palatsina is a fully air conditioned two bedroom terraced villa, tastefully furnished with a mixture of both modern and traditional furniture. The main entrance leads directly into a modern fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining area. In between the open plan dining area and lounge is a wooden staircase that leads to the first floor where you will find the master double bedroom and double bedroom separated by the family size bathroom. Each bedroom has doors opening on to the balcony where you can sit, relax and enjoy the breath taking views and water sounds. . this has access out onto the beautiful terrace with panoramic sea views over the Bay of Assos. The lounge and dining room is open plan a high vaulted wooden ceiling and doors that look out onto the Bay of Assos. A further set of stairs lead down to the lower ground floor from the ground floor terrace where you will find the large pool terrace. Enjoy the sun and the clear pool waters on comfortable sun beds. The dark blue magic colour of the water below the castle is really unique. Discover a place you can’t help but relax with a chilled glass of wine and a good novel. great place to relax during the day away from the sun with a good novel or in the evenings for al fresco dining watching the sun set over the Ionian Sea.
At the front on the villa is a spacious terrace with built in barbecue and an al fresco dining area with wonderful views over the Bay of Assos towards Myrtos beach. At the end of the garden there are parking spaces and steep steps that lead down to the seafront, to a small rock swimming platform, from here you can swim 200 metres to a platform beach, which otherwise is only accessible by boat.
