Villa Elea is a two bedroom villa with access to its own private beach, set in an idyllic location with stunning sea views and only a short stroll from the tavernas, cafes, bars and pebble beach that line the pretty harbour of Assos.
Villa Elea nestles on a small hillside overlooking the peaceful fishing village of Assos. Located just 100 metres above the crystal clear waters of Assos Harbour, with stunning sea views dominated by the Venetian Fortress opposite, it is easy to understand why Elea is one of the most sought after on the entire island of Kefalonia. In the evenings enjoy a romantic meal at one of the many waterside tavernas whilst the village lights illuminate the harbour and create a magical atmosphere for you to saviour. The water around the pebble beach in the harbour is crystal clear with excellent snorkelling exploring the many caves and rocky outcrops in Assos Bay.
Villa Elea is a fully air conditioned two bedroom terraced villa, tastefully furnished with a mixture of both modern and traditional furniture. The main entrance leads directly into a modern white fully equipped kitchen which has access out onto the beautiful swimming pool terrace with panoramic sea views over the Bay of Assos. Next to the kitchen, by the front door, is the family shower room with wc, with a half set of steps leading up from the kitchen into the living area. The lounge and dining room is open plan a high vaulted wooden ceiling and windows that look out onto the Bay of Assos. A further set of wooden stairs lead up from the lounge to the master double bedroom on a gallery with a wooden floor and vaulted ceiling that overlooks the lounge below. On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with double doors that open out onto a small terrace with stairs leading up onto the swimming pool terrace. Next to the kitchen is a covered pergola, a great place to relax during the day away from the sun with a good novel or in the evenings for al fresco dining watching the sun set over the Ionian Sea. At the front on the villa is a spacious terrace with built in barbecue and an al fresco dining area with wonderful views over the Bay of Assos towards Myrtos beach. At the end of the garden there are parking spaces and steep steps lead down 100metres to the seafront, to a small rock swimming platform, here you can swim to a platform beach which is only 200 metres away, which normally can only be reached by boat.
